Arrival by Car
From Vienna or Munich, you can reach us via the Tauern motorway A10 in the direction of Villach:
- Take the Bischofshofen exit and continue towards St. Johann/Pg.
- From there, follow the regional road into the Grossarltal (16 km) and continue to Hüttschlag (8 km).
- After the village tunnel, turn left and continue about 3 km further into the valley to the small hamlet of Karteis. Turn left again – after about 300 metres you will reach the Family Hotel Oberkarteis. You can also travel toll-free via the federal road.

Arrival by Train
The nearest train stations are Bischofshofen (all trains) and St. Johann/Pg.
From there, you can continue by Postbus (with a written reservation confirmation at half price) or by taxi directly to the hotel
Arrival by Plane
The nearest airport is Salzburg Airport, about 85 km away. From there you can easily reach Hüttschlag by taxi, bus or train.
The local company Taxi Aigner from Grossarl offers airport and train station transfers at special rates.
Car Rental
