When the scent of freshly baked bread fills the air, the day begins with a smile at the Family Hotel. Our breakfast buffet spoils you with a wide selection: homemade jams, butter and cheese from the region, fresh fruit, muesli and yoghurt, cold cuts and spreads, crusty breads and egg dishes with crispy fried bacon.
There’s something for every taste and dietary need – including lactose-free options at the buffet.
At lunchtime, the whole family can look forward to a little boost. Alongside the lunch snack for children and adults, a selection of refreshing non-alcoholic drinks from the drinks fountain, as well as coffee, tea and hot chocolate, are included.
In winter, we also offer a warm soup buffet from 3:00 pm – perfect after a day out in the snow.
In the evening, our restaurant becomes a place for true food lovers. We serve a four-course choice menu with delicate soups and fresh salads from the buffet, followed by delicious main courses – with meat, fish or vegetarian options to choose from.
Twice a week, we surprise you with special themed buffets such as cake, cheese or dessert variations. And of course, our younger guests can enjoy their favourites from the varied children’s buffet.
At the Nature Family Hotel Oberkarteis, you can truly taste where it all comes from, as much of what we serve comes directly from our own farm: our own meat, game from our private hunt, homemade bread, hand-churned butter and herbs from our garden – allowing you to enjoy genuine organic products to your heart’s content.
For guests with intolerances or allergies, we are happy to provide gluten-free, lactose-free and allergy-friendly alternatives on request – simply let us know in advance.
Holiday with a baby? No problem at all. Our youngest guests are well looked after: at the baby station you’ll find jars of baby food, purées, a microwave, a kettle and bibs ready for everyone.
Right next to it, you’ll find our 24-hour juice bar with fruit juices and water, where children and adults can help themselves at any time.
In our hotel bar, modern design meets stylish details and a cosy atmosphere. Enjoy an aperitif before dinner or a glass of wine afterwards – your favourite spot in the evening to unwind and let the day gently come to an end.
